Pro Blend Deer Feed™ Company is a proud family-owned and operated business founded in 2012 by nationally award-winning professional deer manager Chris Pevey and his wife, Mandi Pevey.
Built on faith, family, and a passion for whitetail deer, Pro Blend was created with one goal: to help grow healthier deer and bigger bucks through superior nutrition.
Our History
Long before there was a bag with the Pro Blend Deer Feed™ name on it, Chris and Mandi Pevey were already in the business of growing better deer.
Chris built his career on the ground as a professional deer manager. Mandi built hers as a businesswoman and entrepreneur. Together they spent years managing trophy whitetail herds on plantations and farms across the country — walking the same properties season after season, watching first-hand what nutrition does to a herd over time.
The Problem They Kept Running Into
Working herds in different regions taught the Peveys something the feed industry had largely overlooked: deer in one part of the country don't face the same demands as deer in another. Soil, native forage, climate, and herd pressure all change what an animal needs to thrive — and one-size-fits-all couldn't answer for that.
Chris's reputation was built solving that problem one property at a time. But property by property had a ceiling.
In 2012, Chris and Mandi founded Pro Blend Deer Feed™ Company to change that. They built it as a family operation, grounded in faith, family, and a genuine passion for whitetail deer.
The idea was simple and, at the time, uncommon: build the feed to fit the region, not the other way around. That thinking still shapes every product we make.
